Following a formal education in Quantity Surveying at Aucklands "Unitec" Aaron spent 10 years gaining extensive knowledge of the commercial construction sector.
An initial role employed as Quantity Surveyor for Maltby & Partners was subsequently followed by a move to the Construction Company Robert Cunningham Construction where over the next 7 years extensive experience was gained in all aspects of estimating and the contract management of numerous multi-million dollar projects.
Upon joining the family firm in 2000 Aaron brought an increased level of professionalism to the company and has been instrumental in the continual development and improvement of management systems and on site efficiency within the company.
Aarons role as "Contracts Manager" encompasses all the aspects involved in the financial management of construction projects from initial estimates through to subcontract engagement and project budget control.
As a 2nd generation tradesman, the principal of the company commenced his apprenticeship in 1962, became self employed in 1970 and established the company "Des Redgwell Ltd" in 1973 now known as Redgwell Construction.
He is committed to continuing the levels of quality service that has proved successful over the past 32 years and has been instrumental in the company's ability to succeed in an industry known for it's volatility.
With the growth of the company over the past decade Des has developed his role with a focus towards client liaison / communication, quality control and expanding the skills and knowledge base of staff.
As a past President and current committee member of the South Auckland Master Builders Association a regular platform is provided to keep the company abreast of changes and the latest developments within the industry.
After immigrating to New Zealand from Holland in 1997 where he ran his own successful building firm Frank joined the company in 1998 and quickly demonstrated his talents for craftsmanship and understanding of the building process.
Frank pays particular attention to detail and although our terminology differed to that of Europe he soon showed his ability to manage projects in an efficient and professional manner.
Not one to become flustered, Franks methodical and logical approach makes him a valuable member of our team.
