Redgwell Construction provided complete building and project management services to this 380m2 split level home. Positioned atop a ridge with extensive views to distant farmland and hills, this project required a complex piled foundation design. Material selection included a combination of plastered brick veneer with anodised aluminium weatherboard cladding offering low maintenance and long term durability.
The building footprint creates a number of options for outdoor living on different sides of the house, imperative for a hilltop site with inherent winds.

“We still love our new home after already 5 years in it. It still looks like new. It was our architect Jann Hurley who introduced your company to us and we are really pleased that you agreed to build our dream home in a speedy 10 months. Hardly a day went by that it wasn’t busy on site. We appreciate how your team delivered outstanding quality and got the best out of the sub-contractors too. Of course we had a few challenges, such as having to decide on holiday on more extensive foundations to cope with the steep eastern hill. The way we could interact with you and your relationship with our architect Jann Hurley was excellent and nothing like the strained relationships that are often portrayed on programmes like Grand Designs. We did not experience that at all but we have learned a lot from building this home. So if at any time in the future we wanted or had to build another home we would not hesitate for a moment to approach both Redgwell Construction and Jann Hurley again. A great team and a great outcome.”
